The Find Your True Color support group offers a safe space for gays and lesbians in their coming out process.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve outed yourself already or you’ve been just planning it. The participants in this group come to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, in a respectful, supportive and pressure-free way. 

The meetings take place under the supervision of psychologists Petr Porubsky and Lucie Bukovska from the Safety Hotline. It is a well-tried format, given a go by dozens of people at the summer Prague Pride festival under the title: `Headful of coming out`. The initial meeting of the first batch of people was held in January 2020.

The Find Your True Color group is semi-closed; after its second meeting it doesn’t accept new members. A group meets monthly, for half a year. People who have already been through a cycle cannot repeat it. The capacity is limited to 12 people, who must be older than 15. The participation is free of charge.

The support group is part of the project Sbarvouven.cz. The group is convenient for people who prefer direct communication and group dynamics. Other people can get coming out support through our peer-to-peer mentoring website Sbarvouven.cz, where one client will talk to one mentor in a safe chat.
